(Text on the back)
I asked him why he loves so much the sunsets? Why this fascination for the ends? We were walking through the deserted streets, watching every moment. We were like two mechanical eyes, capturing images, crazy images. The world was dying under our eyes. Now shadows were dancing around us, erasing gradually all our fantasies. Recuerda el fuego de agosto.

A sunset, on August 15th, spreads out its graduation of brilliant reds while we try to behold its intensity and its extend. Recuerda El Fuego de Agusto is the fragment of it. Suspended through space, it has to interrupt the meander as a proper partition does. The piece uses natural element, designed and colored by the hand of the artist : silk, cuttlefish ink, saffron, Saint John’s wort. The red part takes the tone of fake blood, a way to symbolize that human intervention on Nature could only be artificial.
